I have kenny brown double diamond on my 99 ta and had them on my 97 ta.I was super happy with them ,they are heavy but they really made the car more solid ,less rattles etc.

I decided to save money..ok cheap out and bought the bmr ones for the vert.I also by mistake got the ls1 subrame connectors and we had to modify them to fit.Bmr did offer to ship the proper one overnight though. That is good service.

Unfortunately I am not happy at all with the bmr subframe connectors. They might work alright in a hartop or t top but they don't do squat in my convertible.I took the car over the same horrible roads that I went over before as test.we have lots of them.My 99 is solid as a rock with the kbdd. The vert is almost as bad as before ,improvement mabye 2/10 compared to kbdd 10/10.

I also bought a bmr shock tower brace and it might be ok.My other cars had hotchkis stbs.

If anything I have more and maybe even some different rattles than before after the bmr subframes on the vert.

I am going to be posting right away on if its possible to cut off the bmr subframes without any serious damage to the car and then will buy and install the ones I should

Have had Hotchkis welded SFCs on the car since 1995...Love em...they tuck up nice and fit perfect...you can't even see them from the side...

I've got BMR boxed SFCs on my car. Stiffened the car up a lot, but I probably could've gotten away w/ a tubular version on the old motor.

I have the Kenny Brown DDs...I love them. In my research, it seemed like the Kenny Brown and SLP versions were equally liked, so I picked Kenny Browns because SLP has pretty much become a bunch of dikheads to the F-Body community....either way you go, you really NEED subframe connectors if you have a T-top car....

I am curious to why SLP has become like that? I was unaware?

I'd say KBDD or SLP, if you go with regular style go with Hotchkis.

I'd like to know why you think SLP has become *********...

They seemed real nice to me?? when I called and asked why the SLP "badge" was upside down they were real nice and offered to ship new badges to me, I didnt really care, and jsut called to ask why, but they were real nice. there answer was the new guy welds real good but could never figure out what way was up.
all I know is the welds were damn nice.
