Best 700rwhp suspension set up

Looking to see what would be the best set up for a drag strip car that has 650+rwhp. Still wanna keep the low profile the carmaros have. It is a 96 LT1. Looking to get a complete list of what i should get, if thats is at all possible.

Re: Best 700rwhp suspension set up

From my mod's list:

-SPOHN Race Version Torque Arm w/ DS loop (rod end)
-SPOHN 1-5/16" Chromoly Drag Style Rear Sway Bar
-SPOHN Adjustable Tubular LCA's (rod end)
-SPOHN LCA Relocation Brackets
-SPOHN Adjustable Tubular Panhard Rod
-Custom Chromoly Sub-Frame Connectors, integral with roll bar
-QA1/HAL Proma Star 12-Way Adjustable Front Shocks
-QA1/HAL Front Drag Springs
-QA1/HAL Aluma Star 12-Way Adjustable Rear Shocks
-Eibach Drag Launch Rear Springs
-Energy Suspension Master Set PolyUrethane Bushings (front end)
-G2 4-Point Shock Tower Brace
-Front Sway Bar Deleted

If you need the list for a 1,000-1,350+HP setup, I can provide a proven list for that as well.

Re: Best 700rwhp suspension set up

You can find the prices of just about everything I listed on the websites of our "Supporting Vendors" or other popular online sources. Only thing you can't find online is the SFC's and I'd guess they added about $200 to my roll bar install.

Some of the items I have were installed by the manufacturer as prototypes or initial installs to help develop install procedures and generate photos for online documentation.

Re: Best 700rwhp suspension set up

shouldn't be much different.

you can only do so much without going to a custom frame.

i guess you could do something like a 10pt roll bar...or rull cage

custom 4-link rear maybe

-SPOHN Race Version Torque Arm w/ DS loop (rod end) - modified by Steve Spohn with a couple extra diagonal braces for a bit of extra strength. Front mounting point reinforced and tied to SFC's. Stock convertible X-brace deleted. Moser 9-inch mounting bracket modified by Spohn.
-Wolfe Rear Sway Bar, under axle mount
-SPOHN Adjustable Tubular LCA's (rod end)
-SPOHN LCA Relocation Brackets
-SPOHN Adjustable Tubular Panhard Rod (rod ends), relocated/reinforced mounting points, upper support bar removed.
-MAC Sub-Frame Connectors

-PA K-member (substantial rework and beefing up)
-PA tubular lower A-arms
-Afco double adjustable front shocks/springs
-Mark Williams lightweight front and rear brakes
