Bad spring, or shock???

When I push down on the back end of my car easily I here a squeek, creak, from the right rear spring area. Also. starting yesterday, when im at a stop and just let off the brake I here a creak. Is this maybe a bad spring or something else???

OK. Got under my car today and the sound is coming from my right rear LCA. I can just easily grab it and move a little to make the noise and its mainly where it bolts up to the axle. Can I just remove that bolt on the back of the LCA to check the bushing? Will it "slam" down when I take it out? or is this probably just a bad LCA?

If its a stock LCA, then the bushings are 9 years old and prob cracked... You could just replace the bushings or better yet, purchase an aftermarket set thats a solid piece...

Everyone has their fav... I just bought a set of Lakewoods from Summit back in 2001... Cost was 89.00.... They are factory replacement made of square tubing, poly bushings, and non adjustable... I like them..

The other option is to turn up your radio and forget all about the squeeks and creeks... Or you could just start replacing stuff...

OK. I took off the RR LCA and just sprayed the hell out of the bushings with WD40, then reassembled it and no more squeeky, creaks,etc...However, I think this is only a temporary fix and Im sure the noises will come back after a while.

Put grease around the bushings.
