Bad rotors in Austin here...

Is there a good shop in/around Austin to get my rotors replaced (55k miles 98Z) and possibly the brake pads? I'm not much of a mechanic and I think the dealership will rape me for something like this.

Another question, what's considered a good quote on front and read rotors? Slotted would be nice...

With only 55K miles, you can get your rotors cut; no need to replace them yet. Slotted rotors are for show and won't give you better stopping performance. If you want them for show, several of the supporting advertisers carry the Powerslot rotors. Replacing brake pads and rotors is very easy on our cars so any brake shop can help you out if you don't want to take it on yourself.
