A-arm Removal

TO REMOVE THE A-Arm???? Im goint to remove it to get the ball joint pressed out........ is it only 4 bolts holding it in??/ how hard is it???

Lower: 2 mounting bolts to the subframe, the ball joint nut, and the 2 shock bolts.

Upper: Same, except for 2 more upper mount bolts, and nuts. (You have to remove the strut and spring or it's a 8itch).

You'll need to get the car aligned when you're done, the 2 lower bolts are the adjustment points for alignment.

Well for me, or anyone else that has rebuilt there suspension before, or a few times over, (don't ask) with the right tools and plan, I/we could probably remove one side (2 arms) in about a 1/2 hour or so. But since you don't know the "routine" so-to-speak, it might take you a couple hours. It's not that difficult, it's just a pain in the backside. (*** ) So not knowing your skill level and tool selection it's hard to guess. Just set aside about 1 1/2 hours per side to give yourself plenty of breathing room, and "enjoy".
