Anyone have any experience with these pads/rotors?

I am just looking for an affordable upgrade, nothing special, just some spirited driving and maybe a little bit better then autozone stuff.

I don't care if they are drilled and slotted, but thats a pretty cheap deal overall. Also what can I expect from slotted rotors... I have heard of vibrations, pulses, etc... What problems are associated with them.

I like the Napa Ultra premium rotors and the adaptive one brake pads. I just don't know about trusting my life to a pad i have never heard of. I know and trust the napa stuff every day. If you have ever had a brake pad fade at 125mph you will replace your underwear AND your brakes when u get home. The ebc stuff is really good also.

I have been running the same setup for 3 months, also upgraded to Earls stainless steel braided lines. Between the drilled/slotted rotors and the decreased line deflection associated with the Earls, I have seen a 180 in brake performance. Less fade, less heat, no dust and I now expect more out of them while driving spirited. I will not buy different replacement brakes. I absolutely love these.

Re: Anyone have experience with these pads/rotors?

I have to say after a few months... these things are great. I heard about them on my G6, but stuck with advanced autopart regular stuff. I regret it.

These things are great!

I will say, they are no hawk pads or anything but they stop better then street pads, look good, low dust, and nice performance.

Only thing I can add, is they "whir" a little under hard load but from what I understand, typical with slotted rotors.

For street appications I think these are best.
