Question Anybody who has a complete poly kit, check in

I am going to pull the drivetrain from my 96 in a week or so and I am going to replace the suspension bushings while I'm at it.

I'm considering new stock replacements or poly mounts. I'm concerned about the increased road noise from the poly mounts.

I'm going to have to do a poly torque arm mount and trans mount, and those are probably the worst at contributing to noise.

How much more road noise did you get when putting in the complete kit, and do you regret it?

Thanks!

I've got the entire energy suspension kit installed with no noticable increase in road noise. My trans mount and torque arm mount are stock though.

Ditto... I did the ES Master Kit about 7 years ago, and it firmed everything up very well, without any noticable added noise. Most of the rear parts (LCA's, sway bar, TA, panhard) were eventually replaced with parts with rod ends, and the front sway bar is "gone", but I still have the poly tranny mount sitting under the TH400/Gear Vendor combo, and the front upper and lower control arm bushings.

Just curious, what all comes in one of those kits? I see them on LMperformance and Thunder etc. for around $50. Is it just upper and lower control arm bushings?
Thanks.

The complete kit is $135 at summit, and it is pretty much every bushing on the car. I already have their trans mount and front end kit, but I'm thinking about buying a complete kit because it's the same money to buy just the remaining parts. This way I can sell the front end and trans mount and recoup some of the expense.

I've heard the torque arm bushing helps quite a bit with wheel hop. I'm concerned that I may break the tailshaft but I really don't want to go with a relocated torque arm because of increased noise.

Are there any relocation arms that don't add noise?

my Prothane poly bushings onthe front control arms were very squeaky, and i greased the hell out of them..

I learned my lesson once, and i'll stay with Rubber..But i still have poly sway bar endlinks, and poly ends on aftermarket rear LCA's but theyhave grease fittings
