I have these shocks in the front. From the beginning I rode with them on the maximum stiffest setting. During the first week or so the ride was super sharp, but it mellowed out a bit. It was still kind of harsh though. You can feel alot of the road. After two weeks I went through all the settings, and except for a tendency to bottom out, the settings don't make much of a difference.

I have never ridden in a car with a serious road racing or drag racing suspension, but I would say that these shocks have a harsh ride at the stiffest settings, while not giving super good control. You get what you pay for.

EDIT: and where can you get non adjustable bilsteins for $100 a piece? is that the normal price for those shocks? link me up please :P

i think summit had them for 360.00.. but slp has the level 2 shocks for a 100 a peice. you can't buy the h/d's by the shock only as a kit. that pisses me off. i'd rather buy them by the pair.

 

nothing to really add to this topic, but i have illuminas on my integra that i have setup for autocrossing and i love them, havent taken them to an event yet but im sure they are more than up for the task


might i suggest these for your needs? i only paid 310 for mine on ebay before shipping of 50$ and i think i got a damn good deal

they seem harder to find for f bodies though, hrmmmm

 

They only have the illuminas for the rear.
