I was driving back home tonight when I took a turn coming onto the freewayat 40mph in second gear...just toying around like I normally do. I held it to 6 grand, shifted into third, and I heard a loud SNAP and felt a crunch from near the tranny. I'm not sure if I missed the shift, at first i thought I ate some teeth, but the ABS inop light came on immediately and left me wondering what the hell happened. I tried upshifting and downshifting through all the gears and they work fine but my ABS is still not working. Anybody have any idea what the hell could have happened? I dont think I ran over anything...and the car seems fine otherwise...?
