alignment after you lower?

alignment after you lower?

I was told that i need to have the car realigned becuase I put lowering springs on. Is this true?

I used eibach pro kit springs.

Yes. And don't use the stock alignment specs. There are better specs for lowered cars. Check out the suggested specs in the "F-Body FAQ":

I only lowered my front last fall. Do I still need an alignment?

When you lower the front, it alters the caster and camber, and probably the toe-in. The upper and lower A-arms are different lengths and pivoting around axes that are not parallel. Do you have any evidence of irregular tire wear?

No, I don't see any evidence of irregular tire hear, but the tires have a lot of tread left so it would be harder to see. I guess I will add an alignment onto the "to-do" list. Thanks guys.

just rub the tread on the inner edge and see if it feels really choppy, what i want to know though is do i need a camber kit or can it just be alligned just like any other car

AFAIK, they don't make camber kits for 4th gens.
