Adjusting ride height?

Well... I'm about to put a 1 inch lowering kit on my car (strano)

I'm concerned on two things... my front 9.5" wheels rub something whenever I turn... will this get worse if its lowered?

also, to get my car registered next winter, they require my entire car clears this block of wood... i'm pretty sure at stock ride height this is not a problem... but if for some unknown reason i'm within 1" tolorance of this block of wood... is there a way i can increase my ride height for just a day, or about 5 minutes?

You can insert coil spreaders/spacers in the springs. But it they looked and saw them, they would probably fail you for that, since they cause poor handling. How about adjustable ride height shocks, like the QA1's. They make a direct replacement for the front, and Spohn sells an adjustable "coil-over" setup for the rear, using the QA1 shocks.

Of course the QA1 shocks aren't really all that great for a daily driver, other than the adjustable ride height feature.

Another possibility might be the Koni shocks. I "think" the front shocks have two positions for the lower spring seats, allowing you to adjust the height by about 1". Then you could add a thicker spacer on top of or on the bottom of the rear springs.
