Hello I have a 95 Z28 6speed. I am tring to get the trouble code but it keeps saying communication error. I am trying to access the codes throught the ABS program in my Snap-On scanner, Am I supposed to plug it in at the same location I do as when the Service engine soon light comes on? To read the engine codes I am using the trick where you run the two wires from the OBDl adapter to the connector and that works fine.

What problem are you trying to diagnose? Did the ABS inop light come on? Is it on consistantly or intermitently? Are you having braking problems?
I don't have any info on using a scanner to get ABS trouble codes, but if you describe the problem a little more, I might be able to help.

THe ABS INOP light is on all the time the brakes dont feel wierd or anything. I just wanted to know how to recieve the trouble codes for the ABS system.

Sounds like the ABS sensor has gone out (behind the hub).
