4th gen rotors

My 96 Z needs new rotors. I'd like to upgrade, but I don't have the coin for a full kit. Are any of the aftermarket replacement slotted/ crossdrilled rotors any good or am I better off going with OEM?

Weigh your OEM rotors, then weigh some aftermarket stock replacements. If they weigh more, get them.

X-drilled /slotted is driveway jewelry.

Spend the money on good performance brake fluid (Yes change it out!) and some performance pads. NOT the kind you can get at most part stores. I suggest Axxis/PBR Metal Master, but I have yet to hear anyone complain about the Hawk HPS either. Strano is a sponsor on here and carries all this.

Check out Tirerack.com. They have a fairly nice selection and price. I got a set of Brembo's and like them. Although, I just do daily driving, not hard core racing, etc...
