3rd Gen Konis work in 4th Gen?

Did a search and couldnt find anyone specifically stating that 3rd gen konis would work in a 4th gen. I know the rears are shorter but will it bolt up the same, is there any real difference beside the part number? Thanks in advance.

The third gen Konis will work on the 4th gen cars. They are not externally adjustable like the 4th gen Konis but rather by compressing the piston and turning it. The 3rd gen are also monotube versus the 4th gen being twin tube. I personally like the 3rd gen monotube design better and that is what we recommend to our customers for most applications unless you really want the externally adjustable feature of the twin tube design.
