2003 Z06 13" brakes

2003 Z06 13" front brakes with GM performance pads. 3000 miles on them. How much would a typical resale be on these? Calipers are painted rally red, btw. Thanks!

Is it the calipers, rotors, pads, and abutment brackets?

They are the drilled rotors, correct?

You can get the pads and calipers new for about $780.

Now if its everything like calipers, pads, rotors, and abutment brackets are included. That will bump the price up to about $1120.

But the price for a used setup will be much less depending on condition.

I would say somewhere in the $600-$800's would be a good price.

Yes, its everything. I'm going to a 15" or 16" drag set up, so these won't fit. I'll probably be selling them, but not for a while.

Well I was seriously looking into C6 ZO6 brakes, but got sidetracked by buying my new truck. So if/when you decide to sell, let me know and maybe we'll work something out.

You can get the front C5 ZO6 rotors, pads and calipers for about $600 from Fred Beans Chevrolet. Your used parts are worth about $200 maybe.

BYUNSPEED sell them for 700-1000 depending on which rotors. There's no way I see a dealership selling them for less. Provide a link and I'll believe you. Otherwise, that's nonsence.

I think thats for the C5 Z06 brakes. The C6 Z06's are alot better and more expensive.

I submitted a parts request sheet to Fred Beans Chevrolet. That's the best I could do. If they do indeed sell them for what SOMSS said and my used parts are only worth $200 or whatever then I will sell them accordingly. I know that's not the way it is though. LT1 POWR, I pm you when I'm ready to do the swap. Honestly, probably not until January 2008, though.

Will C6 Z06 brakes fit in a 17" wheel?

Yes, but go to BYUNSPEED and look up C5 brakes. They have a list of 4 or 5 17" rims known not to fit without ginding(which I wouldn't do on $1000 brakes)

Btw, Bean Chevy sent me back a quote. Basically the same price as BYUNSPEED. $600 for C5 brakes with the cheaper rotors. Better rotors and/or C6 brakes are more expensive, hence the $1000 price tag.
