1LE suspension

What is the difference between my 96 z28 and an SS 1LE suspension?

Re: 1LE suspension

Not much. The 1LE got slightly stiffer springs, a 32mm front swaybar, harder durometer bushings on the swaybar, endlinks, trailing arms, and panhard rod. It also got a stiffer rubber trans mount. And I believe it also came with 17" wheels.

So does the 1lE spring lower the car any in comparison to a z28 spring?

No, some even say it makes it higher.
