1997 z28 rear brake bleeding issues

So i just bought a 1997 z28, drove it around for a bit, had a grinding in the rear end so i assumed it was a rotor, sure enough the rotor was shot.. i took the break line off the piston in order to get it back on the rotor, but when i went to bleed the line it wouldnt bleed.. fluid came out in the beginning in a steddy stream but stoped after a bit. Now i have no rear brakes and they wont bleed.. can anyone help?

Did you refill the master reservoir? Did you possibly crimp the rubber brake line, causing the internal structure to collapse? If you let the level get too low, you'll have to bleed, starting with the ABS modulator.

Surprised you had to disconnect the line from the caliper.
