I don't believe my 1994 1LE has an ECBM. I ran a diagnostic (SCAN9495) for the ABS and it logs the front left ABS sensor as open or shorted. I wanted to use a DMM to confirm it but don't know where to measure or what resistance value I should expect.
From searching the forums it discusses taking the 32 pin connector off the ECBM and measuring A3-A4 for 800 to 1500 ohms.
Any help on fault isolation, resistance measurements for the ABS sensors would be appreciated.

Reason: Typo from "ECBM" to "EBCM"
Confusing. Are you saying it doesn’t have an EBCM because you can’t find it? Or did you find some source that indicates a 1LE does not require it, even though it has ABS?
Do you have a copy of the 1994 factory service manual?

I do not have the NW9 RPO code because the vehicle is a 1LE I found out, and doesn't have an EBTCM. I need to figure out how to measure my ABS sensor on the Left Front, from somewhere other than directly at the sensor to rule out harnessing issues.
I think this is it. It looks like it has 2 connectors on it. I've been trying to find out what connector, contacts, and resistance value for the left front abs sensor in the wheel hub. It's a non ASR fbody.
I also don't know what that dangling white 2 pin connector is. Haven't had this panel off under drivers side in 20 years.
Correct, your 1994 doesn’t have an “electronic braking traction control module” (EBTCM) because it does not have traction control (called ASR for a Camaro). As correctly stated in the quotes above, 1994 did not have the OPTIONAL NW9 traction control available. It was supposed to be installed as an option in the 1994’s but was delayed for some reason until 1995. The GM sales literature for 1994 indicates it was available, and it’s in the 1994 factory service manual (FSM), but it was not available until 1995 model year.
You indicated in your 1st post that your car does not have an “ECBM”…. misspelled but close enough to EBCM. But all 4th Gens have ABS as standard equipment, and all ABS (only) cars have an “electronic braking control module” (EBCM). That’s where Scan9495 pulls the ABS system codes from.
Look in the “Braking” section of the 1994 FSM. It has a diagram showing where the EBCM is located, along with all other ABS components. There are wiring diagrams, connector pinouts, diagnostic codes with test info, etc. Have you downloaded (free) the 1994 FSM.
Thanks Fred, I think now I'm tracking what configuration I have, or at least understand the system a bit better. I thought I might have had something different than the EBCM because of no traction control. I have to pull off the right connection and measure resistance between A7-A8 I believe for front left.
We'll check it today. I have new wheel hubs coming in Saturday. Passenger had very small play, non on driver but ABS sensor appears to be inop.
Got around to replacing the front two wheel hub assemblies. Driver's side was OL (open line) on my fluke meter, and passenger side was 1.083 kohms. ABS Inop lamp is extinguished. Passenger side sensor was good, but the wheel hub itself had a slight bit of play, so I replaced them both.

That means it is installed and that the app is having a conversation with it.
