Geeze guys.... I have MONEY and nobody seems to want any!

Do you vendors look through this section?

I have asked for quotes for Tires, Wheels, Rear End, Street Twin Clutch, etc.

tbyrne is apparently gone (and if not, I am not sure I want to experiment, since someone said that their phone had been disconnected)

Another company said they deal with Moser Dana 60's... no reply.

I did get my tires and wheels ordered from Tomz Wheels, with a BIG thanks to Kaj, but nobody seems to want to take my money.

I The rest of the parts I am still looking, so if you are a vendor, you have the part, and you want my money, let me know.

Turns out, I am going to Byunspeed for almost everything on my list. McLeod Street Twin is already on order at a good price. Young is THE MAN at Byunspeed!

I should have everything on order by Thursday, and when I do I will mention any problems if they arise. Anyway, I am looking at around $13,000 (including axle package and ATI Procharger DS1C kit)

Most of this stuff I can order from Jegs or Summit, but since I have had tons of support, answers and help from the CamaroZ28 board, I would like to support the vendors if they will take my money.

Since I have my engine being built now, I will want to get all I can so when it is done, it will be ready to bolt my engine to the new K member, slide it up and be ready to rock.

I will edit this post as I order parts, so no vendor needs to try to quote something that I have already purchased.

I have given up getting a quote for injectors and McLeod Street Twin, so I am going to Summit for them and will order them Saturday, unless I get a price from a supporting vendor first. The rest of the parts I am still looking, so if you are a vendor, you have the part, and you want my money, let me know.

I am looking for, RIGHT NOW,

2.5" Y pipe to 3"

3" mandrel bent pipe from y pipe, over axle, to muffler

Edelbrock SDT muffler and piping to nice exhaust tips

Strange or Moser rear axle, 3.73 gears, complete with reluctors for 4 channel ABS, ready to bolt in ( I tried getting a quote on a S60, no luck, so 12 bolt will be OK, as I doubt if I ever have drag slicks on it)

Shortened driveshaft to work with the axle, if needed.

Shorty headers, with CARB EO for California SMOG

MSD Distributor, complete

Strut tower brace

Shocks all around

Braided hoses for brakes

Adjustable Panhard rod

In the near future (a week or so) as I firm up the brands, options I want

K member and A Arms, rear control arms, upgraded stabalizer bars front and rear, bushings for everything that is not included new with the arms.

I don't doubt it, but I could not get ahold of them, they did not return my emails, and apparently their phone was disconnected when another member called them.

And they have been 'closed for vacation' for over 2 weeks.

I finally found a NON SUPPORT VENDOR for all my needs, through another member.

Not only are they helpful and friendly, but they are working WITH me to get the parts I need, not what I want. When I replace everything, sometimes I want either way too big parts, or the wrong ones.

dbrockma: Since you are in the suggesting mood, please suggest that they get our advertising information from us, maybe we can help each other out.

I believe that TByrne may be going through some issues that are causing them to remain closed. Hopefully, things will get all straightened out with them soon.

Old thread, that needs some POSITIVE closure.

I went with byunspeed.com to the tune of $15,300 as of today, and I have around $7500 more to go. I have recieved most exellent service and support for my purchases, and ended up buying everything except my motor and transmission through this company.
Always prompt shipment, he is there when I need to ask a question, and he actually knows his products and helped me sort out some parts I wanted to buy that he saved me money on (and he lost some too, on the sale, but seemed to be more concerned with my 'perception' of the purchase after I got it)

He is one OK guy in my book, and I highly recommend to anyone to give him a call and try him out, especially if you are like me and not getting any responses through our supporting vendors (Like I got one quote back from the $15,000 worth of stuff I said I was READY TO SPEND)), try him out, you will not be disappointed!

Or, try him first

Probably, but the point is that in my case, I was up front and TOLD the vendor forum I was going to spend thousands of dollars, with a pretty big list. I also did not know as much then as I do now and was a little unsure what parts I wanted or needed then, but Young of byunspeed helped me work through most of my questions.
Perhaps they did not believe me, and I realize they have lots of nibbles and no bites, but such is the way of business, in my opinion.

They never know which one will pay off big, but in this case none of them got my money, even though I tried for a few weeks as I like this forum and the information that is available and given here.

I even suggested a couple of ideas that might help, but it was discussed and probably my ideas would not work anyway in the long run.

I am not trying to bash any vendors or moderators or members of this group, as I am sure they are all great and I will still be a member to help when I can and ask questions.

I just wanted to finish my story and this thread with a positive note that I found and purchased the parts I needed, and was happy with the vendor that I chose. Isn't that sharing of information what makes these forums great?

Young is a good guy to deal with. I remember back when I bought my gears from him, I had emailed him asking for a quote on the gears/install kit. Later that day he called my house to talk to me about my goals etc! great customer service. I try to buy from various vendors on the forums though. They help support the site, so I like to help support them as well.

I see your point and do agree. But im going to give my "why I think the vendors did not take you seriously paragraph haha "
Vendors prolly deal with people everyday who say they have tons of money, then they dont spend it I know from a business stand point this can be very annoying. Im sure customssi is wondering wtf happend to me (still waiting on the price quote for the builder to build the motor so dont forget me yet!)
