Built with some of the finest parts available from Callies, Mahle our 383 cubic Real Street LT1 short block consists of the following:

Callies Compstar 3.750" stroke 4340 forged crank

Callies "Compstar" 6.000" forged connecting rod

Mahle 4.030" bore -16 cc dished forged piston

Clevite Poly-Dyn coated bearings

Mahle Plasma moly rings

LT1 engine block

ARP Main Studs

Assembled and ready for your cylinder heads, camshaft, and other supporting parts.

Just to clarify, are these blocks already assembled, i.e., are these the only parts that can be used? Reason I ask is because I need -5cc pistons.

They are assembled shortblocks with that particular piston already with them.

What would the compression ratio be with stock heads? I'm looking to use the short block for a blower application.

Roughly 10.28:1
I calculated it with a .050 thick gasket and 58cc on the chamber.
