I've got an unused QTEC (the wiring was installed, but not the plate) I'm selling. Local sale is preferred, but I'm asking $120 right now.

Shoot me an e-mail if you're interested.

I'd be interested in a GP also if it's under $145 shipped. I found one at http://www.customracer.com for $134.87+$10.50 shipping. I might go with that. Thought I'd let you guys know.

Guys,
I think this is one of the best cutouts around. Made with great tolerances, strong materials and is warrantied fully for 4 years. If no Advertisers wants to do a GP, then I think you should seriously consider buying one of these cutout from www.dmhperformance.com I have never heard of anyone being unsatisfied with an electric cutout from DMH.

Here is the full write up I did on one:

Thx,

It's November now!!!

Wish you had posted this a week and a half ago before I ordered mine.

I plan to install limit switches on my to cut power to the motor when it is full open or full closed. This should extend the life of the motor. I am also thinking about adding a potentiometer to feed an indicator so I can tell the exact position of the butterfly when not fully open. Kind of like a trim indicator on a boat.

OK guys here is the scoop:

I spoke to Dave at DMH a 2 days ago and he is currently doing a big order for some folks in Austrialia and should be done with 2 weeks or so. I told him how many folks have requested the GP for the cutouts thru Z28.com and he said when he is finished with the Austrailia order, he will become a Paying Advertiser here and Do a GP for all the folks that want an Electric cutout. But this wont be until LATE November mabee early December.

So you will have to wait if you want the BEST Quality Electric cutout in the industry backed by the BEST warranty then I would suggest waiting till Late Nov possible Early December when DMH comes to Z28.com as a paying advertiser.

If you guys do a search on Lt1 Tech you will find that a lot of folks with the McCloud and All the other cutouts have leaking issues or are unhappy with the other cutouts or some reason. But you will not find anyone who has the DMH unhappy with it. If you cant wait till Late November then I would suggest forgetting about the GP and contacting DMH for your own personal order.

I bought my cutout from DMH 3 weeks ago and I am More than happy with the quaility of the piece (the wiring, the rocker switch, the Cutout itself, the motor and the simpilcity of the install) and I was very happy with the customer service that DMH provided.
Also, I hear most of the other companies use a nylon gear, in the motor, which will wear out and does not withstand the heat but the DMH cutout are made with Steel gears. IMHO, they are the ONLY way to go when getting a Electric cutout.

From all the folks that I talked to before I got my cutout, the one thing comes to mind that they (all the ones that owned a DMH cutout) told me. They said: This is one of those products that you may spend a lil more but you are getting exactly what you paid for, a well built quality product!...And now... after owning a DMH E-cutout, I know exactly what these guys were talking about

Thx,
Claude
