I see no reason why that car wont run a 14.3 w/ just an LSD and some DRs. You could easily cut a 1.9 or a 1.8 once you have those two. You should definitely be in the 13s internally stock though. .7 isn't too hard to pick up with bolt-ons.

Angry

Sorry to be dumb? But what is a LSD?

And from a Drag racing point of view. 60Ft does equal better ET... will not help your MPH but can lower the ET with go driving. And I must also add. YOu have to be a excellent stick driver... because I cant drive a sick for Sh#T!

2.3 with a 310 rwhp Dyno proven SS. And still can't get a 13.5 or better ?

Oh well ...I guess i need to keep trying.

yeah I am really considering modding really considering keeping stock...

been wondering what a cutout will do for my car as well since I am running dead stock...

Was also thinking about quit being a pu55y, and strong arm the exhaust loose, where the S-pipe and Ipipe meet and still consider what times I get on $0

I have an air compressor, air ratchet and zaw saw now. What I learned on John’s 3.8 was the cutout made the car sound like crap so get it welded in. John has his welded now so there are no leaks. He has it after the cat so it is not as LOUD as most.

Boxed LCA’s and Panhard made the car feel better to John, I can not tell the difference in the ride though.

Just be careful. Your car is so nice now as is, but if you mod correctly it will be just as nice. I just did some mods when I had the Z that I think made the car devalued because it was not professional enough. It is the little details when doing things so if ya need help to make it easier let me or john know.

hehe don't worry I have heard plent of modded 3.8Ls they sound like ***...

that is why I consider a cutout over a catback, I can go back to pretty much stock, with 3 wingnuts. Also LSD is a option on my car so not really a mod...

Ya I agree if I ever got a Z again I would keep the stock exhaust and just get a cut out welded in and use that and save the dollars for other things.

don't get me wrong I love a good catback but I want this car back to stock, or stock condition with ease, not really done with a catback exhaust...
