Cool! Looks like there's a few non regulars going. Too bad none of you are running in stock class with me.

And as for the Code Red Eric, we have a Pepsi vendor that has donated something like 250 20 oz bottles of soda. No telling if it will all be Pepsi or what. He was also gonna challenge his buddy the Coke vendor to bring some too. There will be no food or drinks sold on site. That's the rules of the track. But we can give it away. WOOHOO! And there was also talk of having a pizza pool with a 'donation' box. That'd be cool to have a delivery of about 20-30 pizzas. Nice hot lunch at the autocross... MMMMM MMMMMM!

Man I can't wait!

And as for the caravan, Jen, I'll be coming from the other way Saturday morning. I think it's highway 301 or something. But maybe I can talk the wife into some more car stuff Saturday night. That sounded like a good time. We'll just have to see how well the kids behave.

If things go well, we should be done with the 4 regulation rounds early in the afternoon and have A FEW HOURS of free fun runs. Why do I have the feeling I'll be coming home with a lot less tire tread on the play tires?

I am already pysched up for this, especially since my car got a taste of this cool weather tonight

hmm.... Wonder if there is a Regal Cinemas in Gainesville... we usually trade 1 movie pass per pizza here wonder if Icoud get afew out there and could get a similar deal, either way its going tobe a blast, unless I wreck..... ahh... hell it would still be fun and I would have a story

btw, battery mounted and secure in a less ghetto fashion, but still part ghetto.

Yeah, I've been psyched for almost a month now. I even went and ran at the VCC SCCA event back on 9/29 cause I couldn't stand to wait this long. I just got back from a cruise last week too. I was more excited about this event coming up than I was the cruise.

I've got it bad.

Chuck,

Quick question, I just got my confirmation e-mail and im number 179. Does that mean I'm too late? I know you guys only were only taking 150 entries and I havent prepaid (yet).

I already emailed Robert to ask him but I figured you might know.

Thanks!

Edit: BTW what did you think of the SCCA event at VCC? Just curious...

Was confirmation # 179 or was your car # 179?

If it specifically says it is a confirmation number, I'd jump on Paypal pretty soon and prepay. I seriously doubt they'll turn you away, just as I doubt that everybody who registered will actually show up. Things happen. But it's better to be locked in than to miss out.

Okay, I just went and looked at my confirmation email. My registration number is 3. That's my car #. What this means is that you have been assigned the car number 179. If you requested a certain car#, it was no longer available. So he gave you 179. Don't worry you're in. I don't think we looked like we were gonna max out (as of the 10/3 club meeting). But ya never know. If there was a danger that you were gonna get left out, Bob would most likely have said so in your confirmation email.

Chuck,

Thanks, that makes perfect sense. I had put car #79 on the registration form but apparently it was taken so they gave me 179 instead. I was thinking 179 meant I was the 179th person to register.

Cool Looks like I'm in! I just pre-paid as well so all I need to do is get my butt up to Gainsville!

BTW if any of you plan on driving up Sat morning I would leave pretty early. I hear traffic on I-75 will be pretty heavy since there is a UF game that afternoon.

GDI! I really talked myself into not going for fear of breaking something and/or being broke to pay an attorney for an upcoming court case. But y'all are making me really think about re-evaluating my priorities.

Are there openings still available?

I think your registration number is your car number, I am pretty sure my e-mail said my registration was 0661, my last 4 of social security i set as my number.

I just realized I gotta plan my route out, haven't even looked into how to get therte yet.

I think there are still spots available but I'm not the one taking registration. Go to the website and preregister if you decide to go. Just don't wait until tonight to do it. The event is early tomorrow and Robert will print out everybody's registration forms to bring with him. And I don't know if he's leaving tonight or tomorrow.

OK, I registered online, but I didn't receive any e-mail yet. Do I need to wait for that e-mail to send my $40 to their paypal address?

Whose leaving bright'n'early tomorrow and/or wants to roadtrip? Where can we meet up in the Orlando area? You can e-mail me direct if it's faster, jmueller@ced-concord.com.

FYI - For anybody who was thining of going up tonight and staying in a hotel, most likely you found high rates if you could find a room at all. (Thanks to the UF football game) My sister reserved a cabin at the KOA in Gainesville/Starke (~15-20 miles north of Gainesville on 301) but will be staying home now that a close friend of her's is in the hospital. If anybody wants it give me a call. That way we won't have more than one person show up. It's $32 and reserved for tonight and tomorrow. I'll be in the next cabin. It sleeps 4 (double & 2 twins), has AC, cable TV and a beautiful view of my car. What could be better? Anyway, hate to see it go to waste, so if anybody wants it...

The only bad part is I was told you need to bring your own sheets or sleeping bags.
