who has got a racing on public hwy ticket in fl ?

I pled no contest got 6 months probation $1500 in fines + fees for every month of probation. but got to keep my lisense with no points added as long as I didn't get a ticket on probation for any offense. Good luck !!!!

I'd talk to a lawyer... they like to burn peopel that raced on the streets at the stake. I woudl suggest posting on www.orlandoforums.com or fuelslut.net, if it ever gets back up on the web.

I got one from a Volusia County cop who has a notorious hard on for street racing. I was following my buddy in his WRX to drop my car off at a shop to get an alignment and he threw us in jail for racing. We accelerated to 40 in a 45. 
We got a lawyer, talked to the DA, and got it thrown out. $1500 in attorney's fees and one hell of a night in jail.

I got one in 12/04, sped up in traffic, I got on it... but nothing crazy as it was raining. Cop blew it out of the water, etc. 9 months in & out of court, nearly $1500 in fines, lawyer fess, etc. Got it down to careless driving, judge was a ***** and made the adjudication & points stick. 90 days suspended liscense, Court ordered 12 hour ADi course.
All in all, uber gay. Volusia County can eat their *** with a spoon.
