Hey man, met up w/ a White T/A pulling out of my dad's subdivision on Lk. Underhill and played around a 'lil all the way up on 50. I think it was you *****, but I'm not positive. Dam those LS1s are fast mo'fuggers. I would've loved to get a red light w/ you. I think the A4/3000 stall combo up against the M6/Drag Radial combo would have made for a close 300+ft. You really make me wish I had this thing dyno-tuned as well as had a few key ingredients I'm missing like a T.B., ported MAF, MSD, and some long tubes. Well, hopefully I'll get a rematch sometime but I kinda feel like I need to whip out another 50hp first. Not too bad for an ol'LT1 w/ 110+K on the motor ehh?

Yea, I have the mccord cutout and it was closed which is why my car was a lot quieter this time than last "I dont really like racing with it open because of the attention that it gets".
Your car sounds badass man, I like it.
I have a set of S2 heads that I am going to try to get in by this comming up saturday.

What all do you have done to that thing now and what kind of 1/4 you pullin' in that?

Man, unfortunately I have semi Stage II heads and a much smaller equivalent cam than you have in that. I hate to say this but I know you saw my post on it before. I don't want to run it at the track till it runs right. I've been having a hell of a time w/ the valvetrain, just got the pushrods replaced but don't have the lash set right yet. Also it STILL feels underpowered in comparison to the first week I had it done so I'm trying to figure that out...I think it's an ignition problem. I don't hae MSD or anything so I think I asking too much of the system. Anyway, shoot me an email and maybe I get get a rematch @ the track sometime

I say your car ran good n hard man!
I mean, if you take into account that I am equivalent to a high 11 with my current setup and trapping around 115 or so.

Next time I go to the track, I am going to have my pro stars on all the way around and my S2 heads and I am looking for a low/mid 11 with a 60 foot better than my old 1.9-2.0

I might just be under rating the car but without having a timeslip I dont like to say such n such. I like to be realistic. I am SURE I could do better than that right now.

Hell, I ran a 12.3 with a 1.9 60ft before my LS6 intake, cam, ported t body, clutch, Rear end with the gears, BMR K member "just reduces 40lbs off the front".
and now I got pro stars all around. its gonna be insane man.. unfortunately I will get kicked off the track my first run becasue I dont have a cage

 

hehe, another supporter of the underrating method. I do the same thing man. Till I go an e/t twice I usually won't even post it. Jeez 12.3 before...I don't know the specs on your cam but from what I've seen you're sittin @ 11.6 right now. Hey, sometimes they're pretty leanient out there at the track. Just go in the pro lanes, wear a helmet, and don't do anything stupid and they might let it go. I've had a buddy go 11.7 pretty consistantly out there w/out any whining from them and I know a few cffb members in the 11s who have "an understanding" w/ the boys out running the track. Thanks alot for offerin up the DRs, I'll have to take you up on it sometime. It'd be SOOO nice to leave the line wide open or close to it for the first time since way back before the Tq. Converter. Usually, I"m babying it for the first 100'.
