Try Advance Auto Parts. I know they take old oil.

If they don't take coolant, just bring it there and ask them if you can dump your oil.

I tried. No one locally takes it. I called autozone, discount, napa, and the county, and they all said they have no idea. I asked who to call, and they had no idea. Some shops recycle it, but they pay, so be prepared to pay. I hate to say what I do. Esp. since I am very good about recycling oil.....

What about calling a radiator shop to see if the will accept it... don't see why they wouldn't, it's not like your turning over a 55 gallon drum of it. Or maybe try calling a junk yard, they are watched by the EPA so i'm sure they have containers for coolant for junkers they get in. If they say no, just take it to a radiator shop and leave by the front door

Orange County Landfill will take it. South on Dean, straight across Curry Ford onto Young Pine, to the end. Go to the Hazardous Household Waste collection area. It's free.

They will likey say no with that. I know at my work people ask us to use our dumpster, we pay by the pound I am sure those places pay a little more for "hazardous" waste. And no place likes to pay to remove peoples stuff

I have wattered it down and spread it around the yard lightly and not really killed much grass before(not all in one spot)

If you are going to dump it on the lawn, you are better off dumping down the toilet, assuming you have city sewage. The treatment plants can treat for glycols.

Just drive your lazy a$$ 8 miles to the dump, and take your old spray cans, paint cans, power steering and brake fluid with you.

I just moved a month ago and had Kept my old drained oil and old antifreeze in a storage room, then upon moving my last deed was to take the fluids to Jiffy Lube / Quick Lube shop; Yes, they will take both fluids.

WTF is wrong with you people, you dump it in your neighbor's yard, making his dogs crap all over the inside of his house, then you and your dad laugh for days.
Radiator fluid isnt that toxic to the ground, just to mammals. If you lived on the georgia border, drive over and dump it in that ****ed up state.

Lol I was abotu to come in and say pretty much the same thing. This is not oil you are dumping people. If everyone in town says no, then give your toilet a different kind of **** to flush.
