whats with the sudden increase in undercover cop cars?
maybe i've just been blind until a few days ago, but i've seen more unmarked cop cars in the last week than i have in the past few months.
today's spotted:
new black dodge intrepid
see these usually, not too uncommon ... but what i saw next surprised me:
oldschool white crown vic
complete with fogged over headlights, crappy rims, crappy paint, and tint peeling off the windows ... but it had what looked to be brand new lights in the windows and a fully uniformed officer sitting in it. i saw this today at about 12:40 next to mcdonalds across from UCF.
are they bringing out old decommissioned cop cars now?

Glad Im not in Orlando. In upstate NY I got pulled over by a beat up ford Tempo with fishing hats in the back window. Blew right by 'em.
They dont even bother with unmarked cars in St. Petersburg, they just have 1000 cops everywhere...clearly marked. The sneakiest thing they do is use motorcycles.

I have a buddy that's that is a sheriff in Oseola county, and he was telling me that crime in Orange county has increased a lot in the last few years. I'm sure those unercover cops are part of an attempt to stabilize crime in Orange and in Florida in general.
