even if they don't go down, 12k is within my budget limits.

i'll go up there again today and look at it again, but i'm not buying till the mechanic looks at it

however, the mechanic will prolly just be the lube tech guy or some guy fresh on the job that doesn't know crap.

what year of a trans am are you looking for?

Can you buy from a private seller or are you going the dealership route?

On www.autotrader.com Right now they have a awesome 1998 red trans am...all options, WS6 wheels, 60K miles.....for 11,900.....it is a private owner and is immaculate.....do a search and check it out if interested. Auto car also.

He will probably budge on the price also, he has already come down 500 bucks in a week.

No, I dont know the guy personally.

I check autotrader daily(because i'm the market also) and they have alot of great deals on T/A's in your price range..you just have to be ready to drive a bit to see some of them. The one i was referring to seems to be a GREAT deal, started price at 12,500, already down to 11,900 in a week.

I was going to purchase the car, but i'm going to wait until march so I will have the money to buy a car and Mod it all at the same time.

Good luck on selling your car...I DEFINATELY thought about getting it for a race car, but i want The LS1 car first.

I have sold a car to carmax before and it is a very easy process, hopefully they will give you what you want.

Good Luck man!
