Post What to do in Mickey town?

We are getting on a plane from Detroit Michigan Saturday morning (too damn early) to set down in Orlando before lunch.
I am not much for the touristy stuff, been to all the theme parks I can stand at this point.
Can anyone point me to some decent things to do that aren't long lines and exorbitant ticket prices? I'm looking for the lesser known good stuff to do within maybe an hour or two of Orlando. Heck, IN orlando would be ideal. I'm a car guy and a bar guy, but I'm not a youngun' anymore that can fit the tight clothes and latest fashions, so you won;t see me at any of those types of clubs. I've found long ago I became invisible to anyone under 25 anyway

Any thoughts? THANKS!

Cool

If you don't mind a 1.5 hour drive, our car club is holding an autocross Sunday morning.

There is also a CFFB (Central Florida F Body) gathering in Altamonte on Saturday night.

There are usually some car gatherings on the South side of Orlando too. Mostly older stuff.

They'll let you drive the minivan. If not a loaner can usually be found. There have been several months that I showed up without a car but was still able to run in somebody elses car.
