Well, I'm home!
Actually got home yesterday about 1pm. So far I can't tell if I have a headache or not, it'll probably take at least a few days before I will be able to tell. But ont thing is for sure, this surgery is sooooooooo much less pain than my first surgery it's not even funny! It's great, I mean relatively
I'm not naseous or anything, and the pain is definetly bearable, even with no pain meds in me(as I woke up this morning). Obviously I will be taking them though, it's alot easier with them than without them. But the surgery went great, no problems or anything. They just removed the herniated disc and bolted a metal plate in there and everything. The funny thing is most of the pain is actually because they had to kind of jack the bones back up to the height they would have been with a normal disc, because the disc was compressed so much that the bones were too close together. So it basically stretched all the muscles in my neck from them jacking it back into place, which basically feels like someone punched me really hard on the back of my neck. The incision itself doesn't really even hurt that much, kinda itches more than anything
But I just wanted to say thanks for the prayers and thoughts and everything, you guys are great. I won't be on the board much til probably next week when it's a little easier to sit here in front of the computer.
So again, thanks for your support guys! I just wanted to let you know I'm doing pretty good, and I'm looking forward to getting back on the board more often!
