According to my catalog, CI stands for "Consent of the Instructor". I have no idea if you'll be forced to drop it or not.

It is possible that it let you register because calc 3 may be a co-req. Are you also registered for calc 3? If it let you register, I don't believe you can be forced to drop it. You might want to check on that so you don't end up getting screwed.

I head diffy Q was pretty rough...

Either way from my expereince, if you don't meet the requirements, and its not a co-req, it won't let you register. Found out when I registered a few days ago.

If it let you register, consider yourself lucky.

If you're registered for it, don't worry about a thing. They don't go back and audit your pre-reqs after you've registered. Just buy the book, show up, and you're good.

Yeha in the past, I have had problems registering for classes I met all the prerequisites and was eligible to register for.

Yeah, ironically enough, the Spring (my graduating semester) is the only semester in which I haven't had to obtain two separate overrides for classes that I met the prereqs for.

The new Polaris system is cool, but it's flawed in a lot of respects.
