Anyone want to trade LT1 front end for my LS1 front end?

I am not 100% sure I want to do this just yet. I am either converting my car to look like a '97 SS to **** people off or keeping it as is and throwing a bad @ss hood onto it.

I personally prefer the LT1 style front end A LOT more than the LS1 style. I like the idea that it pisses people off when people put SS badges on non-SS's as well. I think cruising around in a '98 LS1 that is a '97 SS clone would be cool.

I would trade even with someone who had red body parts AND an SS hood. Right now I am only interested in an OEM SS hood (I had an aftermarket SS hood on my '94 and it SUCKED!).

Just checking to see if there is any interest out there.

The LT1 front end will not fit over the LS1 engine. That is the primary reason GM redid the front end for 98....

Kwiksilver, interesting point. I have seen an LS1 in an LT1 car but it did have a larger hood on it (cowl style).

If I did this it would only be to make it look like a stock SS, so if that won't work I won't do it.

Keith, what other "bad @ss hood" would I be talking about !

The LT1 front end WILL fit over an LS1, just the airbox wont. You'ld have to run an LT1 style CAI, and this would be a retarted swap.
