I can't really afford to daily drive this anymore, so I'm looking to get rid of it. How do you go about selling a car privately? I've been out of the market for about 10 years, so I'm needing some help here. The car is in my sig. It currently has 115k and is in pretty good shape. I was offered $3000 for it as a trade-in. Is that good or not?

 

I bet you could get $5,000 for it privately, and if it's stock.

 

Yes, its stock. I only upgrade things if they break or wear out. Whats the recommended method of selling it? Ads? Stick a sign in the back? Obviously posting here would be good, duh...
