Quick one.. anyone got recommendations for reputable tinting companies in the area? I want to get 5 to 10% all around, I tried a Bradenton company that my wife has used on all her cars called Solarvision and the lowest they'll do is 20%.

Any recommendations?

And for those interested I still want to try to get a gathering of local F-Body's together at Hooters in Bradenton, just trying to find a free day to see who wants to join.

im looking to get my tint redone also. i was recommended a guy by a friend, but at the moment i dont have his name/number with me, ill post if when i find it.
i called around to 3-4 shops, and he quoted me a reasonable rate, and sounds like he knows what hes doing.

 

Definately let me know his name and the quality of work if you have him do your ride.

I was quoted by solarvision $139 (5yr grade) and $169 (lifetime grade).

I just want to find a place that someone has taken their car to and had good results. I worry about bubbling and peeling.

 

I have two places the first is Xtreme window tinting and detailing in venice . The guy is awesome and does a great job he did some work on my car . the other is Wilde sun honda they do a awesome job and i work there in detail. Try those two i know they are both good and offer llumar film with lifetime warrenty.

 

i got my windows done at sunout off bee ridge near southgate mall. i got it done back in 1998. i'm not sure what % it is, i just told him i wanted limo tint. it's been fading pretty bad and started peeling, but it has been 7 years.

 

You wouldn't happen to have a number for either would ya? Where is Wilde Sun Honda located? Also do you know how much Wilde Sun charges for 5-10% tint all around with a header on the front window?

I belive that myself and some of my fellow F-body owners here in St. Pete are going to be going down to BMP on Sat the 5th. If you'd like you can get a group and meet us down there and then maybe we can meet up at the hooters or something like that. I'll let you know more once I confirm with the rest of the guys.

 

Auto trim desighn on 41 in bradenton does great work and resonably priced as well.

Well called Auto Trim Design and the only thing I can get there is 30% sides, 5% rear and front header and they charge $175 for that. Damn... getting a place to do 5-10% all around is tough..

 

They're on South Tamiami Trail on the same side of the road as the Sarasota Mall, Palmer Ranch and Sunset Dodge. It's a off-white color building with light blue trim.

 

Well that figures. You should come up my way some sat night. We have a lot of stuff to do up here with a lot of cars. Let me know.
