Rev it Up

Is the Rev It Up event that is coming to Epcot this weekend just like the Auto Show In Motion, or do you basically have to pay the $25 to get to do any driving. It says that admission is free and that there are activities you do not have to pay for. Would these activities be like the tracks at the Auto Show In Motion.

No, it's different. They actually encourage driving fast.

Admission is free, but if you want to drive you have to pay.

I went to the one in Miami last year it was a good time.

To get in past the gates you had to be signed up (paid) you were able to drive all of the SS cars (Trailblazer SS, Monte Carlo SS, Impala SS, Silverado SS, Cobalt SS, and the Corvette (A6 cars)

The nice thing they did not drive with you could go fast around the course; they had a Tractor Trailer from Goodyear at the event changing tires on the Vette's.

They had times races (the time you picked when you signed up) in the Cobalt SS (2-races you get), the offered training for each stages of driving and racing. You can race go carts (need to be paid for), and you can ride in the Z06 ($20).

The wait times to drive were maybe 10 minutes tops for the Vette, the rest were open. I they had several of each car (and 4 extra Vette’s to drive on the course).

Sounds good. It looks like they send out more than one car at once like they did at the Auto Show In Motion. I wasn't sure if at Rev It Up they only let one person on the track at a time. That wouldn't be fun waiting in line all day.
