I doubt its any different since the v6 models came with the same rear end the v8 models did right?

nope, totally different rear ends. the z28's had posi rear ends and the v6's just spun the passenger tire when it lost traction.

for what its worth, I had drum brakes on my v6 and upgraded to a lt1 rear used lt1 sensor and had no problems.

Call up a parts store and see if they are teh same part number.

The entire dash shattered when the airbags exploded. It had the grey/black interior.

john if it is the same sensor i will pick it up, if you have two of the rear ends ill take both probably just in case one goes bad being used and all.. no abs at the track trying to slow down on et streets wobbles the heck out of the car, not a good feeling. just let me know when they are out and things will be good.

His ABS light just came on today too. We are going to make sure it is not that sensor before we sell it.

The second rear end is the one in the car. We are pulling both out to swap fuel tanks. Seems the one in his new car has a huge hole in it. So we do not have 2 extras, only one. I will let you know once we find out his problem, probably this weekend

Thanks

Jsut some 3.4L tech... the ABS lights always going on when the car isn't charging right. Check all the connectiosn see if anything is corroded on alt, batttery, then see if the battery is and alternator are bad. Might jsut be some corrosion, car probable has been sitting for a bit.

I have had some charging problmes in my car and everytime the ABS system went out, I think its a failsafe, to shut ABS down so it drains less energy form the car if its having charging problems.

something similar happens on the z28's... except more dangerous

when there is a bad ground the ABS light comes on, and in some cases the ABS system goes nuts. when mine did this, the ABS would kick on whenever i hit about 10mph while decelerating, almost causing me to go streight into the car in front of me a few times. sometimes this wouldn't happen and the ABS system just didn't operate and the light stayed on.

i fixed this by unplugging all ABS system connections and spraying them with compressed air (or blow on them), then i took sandpaper and sanded down all the grounds on the car real good till they were shiny. i havn't had a single problem since. you should try this before assuming a sensor is bad.

s84z28--the seats are the normal 93-95 black and grey. The seats are nice but dirty. I think kenney is going to clean them. We may have them sold but let me know if you are interested. We do not have money on them yet and it has been a while.

Thanks
