Also there was gambling going on between him and another guy, but that is another story.... All I can say is he is even poorer now...
So what did your friend run??

BASTARD!

It was cool, I got on my R/t, a freaking .826 vs. a .661.

In my defense though my ET was a 15.8 vs a 16.0 my ET rocked, but my R/t sucked, I ended up losing by 0.0101 seconds. If I jsut had a little bit better grip in and sweuzed a better 60" I think I would have had it, I had a little spin at the line.

Later that night I hit a 15.9 with full legal exhaust(new record for me) actually its a stock exhaust off a 95 or 96 z28.

My r/ts were .623, .586, .826, .548, .562

My 1/4s were 16.068, 16.052, 15.893(did something different for the head to head race), 16.153(hotlapped it, I got 2 runs on the same VHT), 15.982.

I still need more practice but hopefully I will get past the first round at SLP.

I saw that the last time I was at the track. I think he said it was from Saudi Arabi.

its a car made by Holden, re-badged by GM as a chevy lumina and sold in the middle east. its got an LS1... one hell of a sleeper.

if you want an american version check out the pontiac GTO... same deal GM re-badging a holden but its a different car.

i wish they'd sell all of holden's cars here

Agreed...

Was a nice car, jsut never heard of it... I was thinking Holdenish car it looked the size of a Catera, which seems to be holdens big time base.

Nice car though.

it is a holden commodore badged as a limmina ss.all he has done to it is exhaust, nittos,&mass airflow ends(mine).he has run a best of 13.6.he is a buddy of mine.about 10 of us went there last night. it is deffinately a sleeper.it is an auto.

i saw that 03 cobra. he was running in the regular lanes.why i don't know.i think he ran a 12.2.

i went just to play around with my can.it has been awhile since i have gone to osw.but i still pulled down a 11.6@119.in a 02 pewter ss.i can't stay in it till i get my tuning straight(can't wait till then).

He's probably still used to his slower cars.

BTW, I see a lot of these change pulleys and raise the boost, but how reliable is this? Any of you know exactly what else is done? Or are people jsut takign chances with more boost?

Anderson, those cars can DEFINITELY handle more boost. There is an SC company (forgot which one) that makes a complete SC upgrade to replace the stock Cobra one. I guess that Magnusson actually makes a butload of heat and that's the only reason that you can't boost them too much. Anyway, their replacement kit comes w/ like a 15# pulley and their intercooler is a lot better. They advertise 580ish rwhp w/ the SC and a program.

Kenne Bell said their test car made 613 rwhp by swapping out the stock blower for theirs. No other mods.

Yeah, that's who it was. I saw their add, but then I saw on a ford board that it required tuning AND that it was only about 580area w/out NORMAL bolt-ons...alot of companies do that. They assume that someone purchasing their product will already have intake, exhaust.......

The '03 Cobra definitely owns, it's scary stuff. 700 hp on stock internals?!?!? I'm sure there's more to be had too.
