OSW Friday

Well we went to Orlando Speed World Friday and boy was it not busy. The only excitement came from a couple of VW bugs running 10 and 11 second ¼ times. Those looked nice and ran well. Stangs ran like Crap out there and not one F-body made me look the whole way down the track.

I was there also. The VW's were fine till one of spilled oil from the Burn out box to the tree. Very little imports that night. Mostly Mustangs and F-Bodies from what I've noticed running low 13's and high 12's on average.

We left 9:00 so I guess we missed that. An old camaro when we got there did a burn out and blew oil all over the tower side lane. Even with it closed dumba$$es kept trying to use it as they were working on it.

Say a red LT1 bird run 14.58 and 14 something else Saw a few stangs run 15's as GT's

My new plugs and heatsleeves(also a California water blade ) might be waiting at the office, I am going to throw those along with a set fo MSD 8.5mm wires in...

Might take a trip or two out... only problem is last time I went out I had clutch problems

but other then those times down the track, I haven't really had any problems since... well maybe once the other night, but I think it was maybe tires spinning, a little just they didn't make any noise.

Either way we will see... Friday night is likely a no go for me but maybe wedensday night if I get my stuff in.

Sweet just got the rest of my stuff in...

So sometime soon gonna put in...

8.5 mm MSD wires
NGK-TR55 plugs
MSD 1,000 degree heat sleeving 6' of it.

I am looking at maybe a foot of sleeving on the boots of all the plugs I am determined to not get common cooked wire/plug problems that alot of v6ers get

only put me back about $70-80 total

p.s. also got my california waterblade, might try it out tomorrow with my weekly "hosing" of the car.

I think it was $30 for the heat sleeves... I looked around taylor has a set jsut for the boots, for like $45, and I checked other places, Then I found this, its ignition wires sleeving 1000* temp protection, black, and 6' Fits ove my MSD boots relatively easily(I need to get a razor and shave the raised MSD logo off but no problem, with the boots.

Actuallly here is a link
