Oil Drain Plug Problem

Looking for a little help. The last place my girlfriend took her 2002 Saturn LW200 to have the oil changed(a neighborhood shop over in Daytona I think) overtightened the oil drain plug. I can't budge it with any combo of ratchets, sockets and extensions that I have. I was attempting to change the oil before we drove the car to Gainesville tomorrow, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen now. Anyone have suggestions for how I can pop this thing loose? At this point I'm thinking I'm going to have to take it somewhere, and have a shop loosen it a bit for me. Any ideas?

Do you have a breaker bar? If not, you can slip a closed end wrench over the handle of the socket to get more leverage.

I'd also be concerned that they may have cross-threaded it. A drain plug should never be anywhere near that tight.
