New Post - New Car
Heyas, Folks!
I'm new to the forums here and am looking to purchase a late 2nd gen Z28 to restore/rebuild. I'm even building a brand-new detached garage to put her in! I've got my eye on a 1980 Z28 that needs some TLC and am currently in negotiations.
This will be my 3rd Camaro, previously owning a 1982 Berliinetta and a 1973 Coupe.
I hope "y'all" will be available for lots of advice and direction while this project comes along! I'm in SW Florida, about 100 miles south of Tampa, so if there is anyone around here I can comisserate with, let me know!
Thanks,
Scott

Thanks for the posts!
It didn't work out with the 1980, but I was able to purchase a 1994 Z28 w/ 136K on the clock for $2,600.

This baby needs just a little TLC. My hope is to tighten up all the little odds and ends that come from being a 14-year-old vehicle so she rides nicer. After that, I'll begin working on cleaning up the engine compartment. Any suggestions on where I should start?
Thanks,
Scott
