Hey John, I was wondering if you had checked with Winn Dixie about meeting in the parking lot? I ask only because about 2-3 months ago a group of us were hanging out in this parking lot and the manager at Winn Dixie called the cops on us. We were not causing any problems. It was basically the guys from A1 Speedshop that used to meet at the corner of 50 and 436 in the Sports Authority parking lot. We had moved the hangout down to this lot because of all the imports at the other lot.

Why do business not want cars to show up?

I swear to god, I hate Simon malls, why did they get rid of the cr show, it brought in a crowd for the movie theater.

I guess cuz they like having boat shows, insead that taek up twice the area and half the people go to.

 

well a cop drove in, looked us over real good as he drove by, then did a circle or two around the parking lot, then drove off the same way he came in. he didn't stop anywhere, he just drove in, did a circle around the lot, then left.

i think when we first saw him we thought he was comming to kick us out, but he just kept on driving.


we WERE actual customers of a storefront in that parking lot though, i think almost everyone paid money to eat at the italian place which actually had real good food.

 

Jim, which winn-dixie was it that you were in. I'm almost at this one every friday night and I've never seen you there. We didn't have any problems with the cops or the managment. If we do I'm sure I will have pull with them since my mother in law is one of the shop owners in the plaza. She can get things done if needed, but we shouldn't have a problem.

The past friday night wasn't a large showing(due to the weather I think). Hopefully the next time will be better.

Do we want to meet this friday night or skip till next week?

hey i was just wondering if u guys ever go to the track as a group? or do u guys mostly hang out in parking lots and cruise around? i moved down here a little while ago and i dont really know anyone yet so i am going to try and make it tom. if u guys are meeting up! i was going to last friday but it was raining pretty bad over here. talk to u guys later

Their is usually a group that goes regularly to the track. I am waiting for it to cool down a bit and to get the new rear in.

I think their are some of us going to the plaza to meet/eat and then cruise over to the casslebury thing if you want. Meet around 6:30 or so at the winndixie plaza(as long as the weather stays nice).

Well guys I finaly got a friday off, I will be there on the 27th as long as weather is good. Hell, even if its raining at my house I'll go by. Remeber, we live in Florida, "If you dotn like the weather, go to the next block." That statement is so true here

 

Hey guys I decided to cruise down there last night. Didn't get there till almost 9 No-one was around I guess y'all went somewhere else? I'll keep watching these post's to see when everyone is meeting! There was a green firebird at the BP next door getting gas don't know if was anyone from here??!!

 

i went to the winn-dixie at 6:35'ish on friday night even though it was raining... saw no other f-bodys
