New to Orlando

I just moved to Orlando for Jaguar school. I dont really know anybody down here so if anyone sees a black Z w/ a horrible fitting swap meet SS hood and 17" konigs give me a shout. You'll probably be able to hear me before you see me. Not familiar with the road names yet but I'm in the briarwood apts. on devonbriar way. Its right off of 436 and pershing ave. Just seeing what/who is around here. Nathan

Welcome to FL.

Jaguar School, meaning the learning to work on cars like the XKE, XJS, Vanden Plas, right?

If so, I know of a guy in Sarasota who owns a Jaguar restoration business. I assume he does very well because he owns a few Ferraris. If you're looking for a place to work after you finish school, let me know if you want me to find his number for you.

Welcome to Orlando. I've heard good things about the Jag school, but I've heard and experienced bad things about Collier, the local Jag dealer. I'm not sure how it is for techs there, but they suck for customer service when it comes to parts and (I've been told on numerous occasions) service departments. Head out to Orlando Speed World some Wednesday or Friday night, but with your setup be careful cause traction out there is sometimes a problem.

Re: New to Orlando

You could go out to the corner in downtown orlando. Coming from 436 take I-4 to the highway 50 exit hang a left and its on the corner of orange and highway 50. Heres a link to a local car clubs website that has directions. http://www.fuelslut.net/thecorner.htm Its just a place to hang out and look at peoples cars.
