Need some urgent help

Well after reading up on how to turn the High Beam Switch Off (since the rod is broken) i decided to go underneath and start to fiddle around with the high beam rod. I got the High Beam switch off but to my avail The high beams didnt go off and the low beams didn't even activate. After being frustrated For half a hour i was talking to the guy who installed the HID's in a nice manner. He said there is nothing wrong with the HID's but if there is let him know and he'll contact his supplier and get some new ones. So as i go back to the car i check the wiring under the hood. Nope HID wiring is good. Mess around with the rod a couple more times and the high beam switch goes off and on off and on. BUT the freaking High beams STILL stay on all the time. Can anybody point me in the right direction or maybe know what is remotely wrong? Could it be the Lighting wires or something? Any help would be great! And anybody willing to give me a hand in FL i wouldn't mind paying 50 bucks! I just need these HID's on badly. The high beams arn't cutting it that well. So please any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Sounds like something is crossed if the Highs are staying on all the time.

Double check the wiring from this article

Also, your location would be helpful if you need somebody to physically help you out.
