Need a little info...first time going to Florida.
Need a little info...first time going to Florida.
Well I've finally decided to pop the question and I want to do it in Florida at the end of the month.
I will be in St. Augustine and would like a nice location to get down on one knee.
I want it to be a memorable location and I don't mind doing a little traveling to find it. Hell, we're on vacation we need to see some of the state anyway.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You could try the fort in St. Augustine. By the Spanish Quarter(historic district) The top deck has a great view of the bay and part of St. Augustine.

bing bing bing bing we have a winnahr!
the fort is a nice place to do it... scout it out ahead of time if possible
Thanks all.
Castillo de San Marcos was my first thought when I found out that we were going to go to St. Augustine.
The beach idea would work if my best friend hadn't done the same thing when we were on vacation together last year.
Like I said I don't mind making an adventure out of it.
Thanks again and if you think of anything else let me know.

Old Town in kissimee/st cloud
go on the Sky Coaster, a 300ft tall pendulum ride, you can do it tandem.
propose as it's almost to the top...then you get to compound the addrenalin of the ride and of the proposal...unless she says NO

There's a couple different options I can think of:
-Dinner Cruise on an old riverboat, I believe it's called Ancient City Riverboats. I suggested it because of the uniqueness.
-Take a nice walk through either: Guana River State Park or Anastasia State Park
-Have a nice dinner at either Fiddler's Green, Creekside Dinery, or 95 Cordova
-Take a tour on either, one of the horse drawn carriages(especially at night), or on a sailboat(Schooner Freedom I believe)
-Or you could go the simple route w/the Bridge of Lions at sunset
Hope that helps a little bit.
