Looking for a 4th gen V6 camaro. 94-95

My dad totaled my moms 93 nissan maxima. Looking to get 4-5K out of it through the insurance company. My mom is looking for a 94-95 V6 camaro preferably under 5k. Also, it would be nice if it was within like 20 or 30 miles from Sarasota. I don't know what a V6 car goes for so let me know.

hey, I have a 94 v6 w/5-speed.

126k, tranny rebuilt few months ago i have paperwork. New clutch at the same time, maybe 3-4k on the rebuild.

-o2s about 1.5 years ago.
-new CAT, and z28 catback installed last december
-new oil pressure sending unit

was hoping for $3200 since the tranny clutch rebuild, but might be willing to work on it.

The motor runs strong, never really gave me a problem, I actually never had this car towed, don't think my dad ever did either, its a 3.4L OHV 60* v6, they tend to last forever, couple little problems(headliner falling, small EGR problem that I should have fixed when it stops raining)

Car gets meticulous routine maintenace it came with lifetime oil changes from the dealership in south florida. Car was also only owned by my family, was my dads, from off the truck(he picked it off the truck) and became mine in summer of '00 when it had 93k on it.

If you want I can get a better description and will tell you everything I can about the car, like other things about battery and alternator replacement(got receipts in my car) I also have a new set of AC delco rapidfires and wires I'll install before I sell it (doesn't really need it but piece of mind for new owner) I just wasn't sure if the 5-speed would turn your mom completely off of the car.

if you really want i can dig up some pics but its pretty much stock looking, has a z28 stock catback and lt1 tips, and salad shooters.

And like I said I will be honest and tell you every flaw and every replaced item over the net and may even bust out the digital camera to show you them to not waste each other's time.

Eric's on the $$ for his car, seems.

we've been beating the used cars down, trying to find a car for my youngest daugther in that price range, that "she thinks is cool."

she found an Eclipse on the LemonLot at NASJAX, but it is butt ugly (gray w/baby blue interior) and plain as crap.

there is a baby blue 92 RS on the "base resale lot" (aka LemonLot) at NASJAX for ~3500, but it's got some work done to the rearend, bald tires, new paint & weird exhaust. it just whispers "there's something very wrong with me"

there are 2 V6's on the LemonLot on base here in St Mary's. One is a 98 V6 camaro for $7500, and one is a Firebird, both silver, both T-top, think both are auto.

that's a lot of scratch for a V6, if you ask me.

FWIW, we had a V6, and I loved it. they are ~200hp, and would have plenty of scoot for your mom.

might check LS1.com when you get the money in hand. there's no action in the Florida forum on there, but the used car list is lenghty

i'd sell you my 94 firebird for 5K if you can find me a red, t-tops, 6 spd, leather, under 100k, LT1 T/A or formula for under $7k.

my car has $500 of front end damage from an accident, just needs to get repainted pretty much, and also has a scratch along the passenger side rear quarter panel. other than that its in great shape.

the car won't come w/ all the mods done such as:
predator hood, ws6 wheels, adj. phr, relocation brackets, clear corners, stereo, and maybe moroso intake. if you go to my website on the first page you will everything listed done to the car.

my car is an auto, 79k miles, dark grey int., has upgraded factory stereo w/ kickpanels and speakers in hatch area, pwr windows(both motors need replaced, but still work just real slow), pwr locks, pwr driver seat. thats all i can really think of at the moment.

i'm actually from sarasota so if your really interested i could give more details.
