i NEED an LS1 alum driveshaft!!!!!!!!
mine is out of balance....i could just have it balanced for $25....but if someone is upgrading their LS1 alum shaft, and wants to get rid of it, ill take it off their hands for a fair price.

Is it that much lighter.

i dunno man, but it seems these driveshafts for for $125-175 .............thats way more than i figured......i thought maybe $50-75........
im just gonna have my stock shaft balanced. i dont really think the LS1 shaft gives $150 worth of difference.
take it from someone who just installed on 2 days ago!!
it makes ALOT of difference!!!!! they are balanced better so you get less vibration above 60mph, and they are lighter so you gain a few lbs of torque that were being robbed by the heavy shaft!!
they are nice...trust me...

When I did my brake and reare end conversation I needed a new driveshaft only had emnough for an lt1 drivesahft which is better then a v6 one, but still alway s considered a ls1, but like said don't wanna blow $125-!75 for not that big a difference.
Funny I noticed abosolutley no vibration change form my 2-piece to my lt1 driveshaft. maybe I got a good one.
