right now i own a 88 camaro v6 :/ and in the next few weeks i will be selling it or trading it in on a 98 99 camaro z28 maybe get a LT1... i pay 100 month right now on my camaro... i was wondering how much you guys pay a month... i got a quote from gieco for 115 dollars for a 98 LS1 but with bare minium coverage... and if i finance it i will have to have full coverage

before turning 25 with a clean record, with a 96 Z28 and full coverage i was paying $125

turned 25, went down to $100

totalled the 96 and bought a 99Z28, got no tickets for the accident, and price went up to $130 full coverage.

i wish i was any of you at this point. my insurance for 2000 mustang v6 was 389. a month then i bought the 95 z28 and it went up to 398.00 a month. but right now i am insurance less. so im not broke. damn this sucks

Are you driving without insurance right now? I hope not. If you are and you hit someone I hope they sue you for every damn penny you will ever make. My girlfriend's Z was rearend two weeks ago by a kid in his early 20s that had not kept current with his insurance payments. I had to fight for a week to get "her" insurance company to total her car out so she wasn't stuck owning a back-halved POS. When they were writing the kid the ticket the cop told me he had insurance and the next day we found out it wasn't active. She's seen him twice at the gas station since the accident and unfortunately I'm never with her when she does. On top of all that I ran his driver's license through the FL website and his license was already scheduled for suspension on the 17th of this month.

Get insurance or sell the damn car and get something you can afford to insure. People in this state need to get their **** together!

 

Enough said. Beyond that, get good coverage. The state minimum of $10,000 in liablity will not cover any serious injury, and you will be liable for the rest....
