Re: heritage edition

Here's an idea. Since your bank must be pretty knowledgable about the Heritage Edition, otherwise they wouldn't give so much money for one, maybe they know what codes to look for. They must have some way to tell that they're not loaning $9,000 on a regular old 3rd Gen Camaro.

Re: heritage edition

yeah they know the codes if you look under your consold the code is on the sticker.and i didnt buy it for 9k i got it for 1,700.00 from a guy who had no idea it was a heritage and neither did i till i did some research on it.

and to all the carsalseman who dont believe me well how many cars do you sell a month and how long have you been doing it? as for my dad wich is very knowledgable about special edition cars and the classics has been doing it for 20 years.i know many car buffs back in florida i sent them pic's of the car and they all say the same thing as i do.i dont need to justify myself on what i have they did it for me so thanks everyone and have a nice day.

Re: heritage edition

BS..... let me put a real fine point to it. What it's opinionated "worth" ie: retail is higher than loan value. The retail marked at is of no consequence. The loan value is all the bank will give, the rest is up to the purchaser. Oh yeah.... 20 years experience. Stop wasting bandwidth, these exchanges are meaningless and only show that you're just not hearing what you want to hear. There is no way a bank is going to loan that kind of money on a Camaro. A Vette isn't out of the question, but a Camaro is.

10-15 vehicles a month on a 20 hour work week. Been doin it for 3 months. Being new in car sales has nothin to do with knowing a 92 isnt worth 9k.

4th gens are starting retail around 6k+ for v6 and 8-9k+ for V8 depending on condition, miles, options etc... A 92 aint gonna retail at 9k. You may see someone try and get that occasionally but the value aint close to it.

Thats the key part there. no options, no miles, no condition. Nothing to base a price off of.

I'm done with this argument. Your obviously too hard headed to get what we are trying to say.

And that's still retail. Cars don't sell at retail very often.

Even worse....... the consumer wants to buy at wholesale but wants retail for their trade.

Is your NADA book from 1992 or something??? Now, there is one REAL Heritage Edition that was made with a 6-speed. Maybe it's referring to that.

I believe you car has the Heritage PACKAGE. Kind of like the difference between the 30th Anniv. SS with stripes and the one with the LT4 motor.

Regardless, who gives a f@ck. You got a cool car for a low price, good for you! Let's see some pics !

Yea that is the biggest deal killer of all...especially if they have negative equity on their trade. They just dont understand that a dealership isnt going to write off 2-5k for them.
