Re: heritage edition

Does it have the heritage stripes on the hood and deck lid?

What about the anniversary badge on the spoiler? On the dash?

Nothing much else special about it....

Here are some pics of my dads car with the heritage package.

Where in Fl are you located? Are you a member of www.flthirdgen.org ?

Post some pics for us

Are you sure about that? I think that may be slightly inflated

Re: heritage edition

I have to argue that point...alot. I'm also a carsalesman in Florida

A thirdgen, heritage edition or not will not fetch 9k unless the buyer is tricked into it.

If it was 30th anniversary sure...

well car carsalesman are tricky people and the only person id buy from is my dad.i do not trust any one when it comes to buying a car.my car may be worth more to someone or not it all depends on the buyer and how much people are wanting to pay/offer. i was offered 12k for my 92 25th ann. convertable but didnt sell it cause i loved that car.

Re: heritage edition

It may list for 9k retail if it is a convertible 25th Z28.
WIth low miles on a dealers lot. Not trying to bust your bubble but that seems high for that car. I love a 3rd gen Camaro also. I owned one for 16 years.

check them out on ebay average price is about 3000.00

I'm sensing denial on your part and a crack addiction on whoever offered that much.

you think what you want it is a free world but NADA does not lie thats NADA not sorry Kelley blue book.they dont even have the 25th ann. in there nore the heritage edition.and you as a car salesman should know that they dont use kelley they use black book wich is right there with NADA.

Re: heritage edition

I know that. We dont just use black book either, we use alot more, other local dealers, our lots in the market area, etc. And I can guarentee that none of em would pay that much for a 25th.

Highly doubtful. Call the bank and find out the loan value...... that will be an eye opener. The problem here is that you're not getting what you want to hear. It would be the same thing with my 97 WS6. There's no way I'll get what I think it is worth, therefore I'm keeping it.

Re: heritage edition

I working in banking for 4 years. The loan value they use is based of NADA retail that would be 6400.00 at best. Then they would only loan you a % of that depending on your credit and bank relationship. GENERALLY, banks only give 100% loans on vehicles that are 1-2 years old. Otherwise the LTV will be over the market value and auto insurance would not cover the balance of the vehicle without GAP insurance.

(exapmle of your average car deal) When you buy the average new car in the united staes it will depreciate about 20%. You crash a 20K car a week after you bought it the insurance will pay you 16000.00 you will owe 4000.00 plus the tax plus the tag and title and dealer fees on top of that. many people will not pay for a car that can't use.

The Lender will not loan you more than market value for a used or new car. LOOK that risk that most car loans have?

Re: heritage edition

well my credit isnt the best but i got 100% for my truck and it is a 98 dodge ram ss/t.but i do agree with you in the fack about the banks and how good of a customer you are with them.then again i called my bank and they even said its worth 9k so it all depends on the person and the banks so lets just leave it at that.
