Got a new car!

Just bought a 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis-only 28k miles for around $3,300. Car is mint inside and pretty good outside.

Just tired of throwing miles on my Camaro and i've been looking for a beater for a while and saw this today so I decided to pick it up. Not like anyone cares but i will post up some pics in the next few days.

Doesn't bother me-I knew I would get a few of those. It was either this or get rid of my car and get something else entirely-i am starting to get a little tired of having a loud, rough ride for 30-40 minutes each way every day-I am going to enjoy this big old car.

Plus my girlfriend has a light blue 1994 Buick LeSabre that she got from her grandmother so I had to compete with her-should be a nice change after I get used to the 160 hp boat on the weekdays to the 475 hp on the weekends.

Grand Marquis' are nice cars. My aunt has always had one and they're a great car for the money. When I was back in town for a long week, I detailed her '01 and I actually enjoyed driving it. Very smooth car, no rattles or sqweaks, the shifts are seamless, it's very comfortable and easy to drive, the stereo is crisp and clear and it's very quiet. Exactly the opposite of an F-Body, lol.

Are you going to the C-USA Championship game on Saturday Erik?

I'll be there.

Not sure-I've been talking about it with friends but not finalized anything yet. I will send you a PM or post up here if I end up going.
